New Location : Classes are Sunday Only at Spirit Studio Basel
Ashtanga Yoga is a physical practice that combines breath, movement and focus to create concentration and a moving meditation.
Mysore is named for the city in India. It describes a style of individual practice in a group setting. Practitioners start and finish according to their needs. Everyone can do this practice. If you can breathe, you can do Ashtanga.
Why a club? Early mornings are hard! We are here to inspire each other. One famous yogi says the hardest posture is "get on the mat." But perhaps even before, it is "get out of bed."
Join us! Only Sundays for now at Sprit Studio

There is alway more to learn and discover.
I've been a student of yoga since 2002 and was first certified to teach in 2005 in the US, before moving to Basel. I began teaching here in 2013 and completed an AYI advanced study with Dr. Ronald Steiner at Ashtanga Yoga Info between 2015 and 2018. Currently certified as an AYI Expert, I attend continuing education annually. I also take every opportunty to learn from multiple advanced Ashtanga teachers. Some of my best lessons have also come from a complete shoulder operation in 2018, my husband of 20+ years and my three children.
I am a member of the Schweizer Yogaverband and am also a RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.
